Yes, you read it right! We got all of Jim's test results today and were told that he is in remission. I think we were both so afraid to here the news, that we were speechless when told. It is still sinking in, but what a great joy for our family.
Ironically, today is exactly one month before the date Jim was diagnosed - March 19, 2008.
We know all of you and many others played a large role in helping us get through the past year. We could not have been so strong without you. Faith has been a key component for us. Keeping a positive attitude makes all the difference.
Thank you for all of your love, prayers and support!
God Bless

Way to go, bro! Finally, an answer to all of our prayers! You deserve this after all you've been through. It was great seeing you on Valentine's Day. Thanks again for the great food. We toasted you last night with a bottle of bubbly, and when I told Laura today she cried tears of joy! We love you and pray that you'll enjoy a long, healthy remission. Love, the McHenry Lamberts!
I'm sitting here in my kitchen with tears in my eyes. What a fantastic gift! I think what has had me in awe this whole year is how positive you all have been through this. It was a difficult road, yet you approached it with amazing dignity and strength. You have been an inspiration! Congratulations!! And thank you for sharing this journey with all of us. It gives one hope.
Hugs!
Ingrid
