Jim's very tired today and has lost his appetite. One of the drugs in his chemo cocktail is Thalidomide, which does cause drowsiness. Surprisingly there are no other side effects today. The good news is the doctors are happy with his tolerance to the treatments thus far and are hopeful he can come home on Saturday.
The priest came in today to give Jim the sacrament of the anointing of the sick
and pray with us. It was very comforting.
We want to thank all of our "angels" who are helping us this week with Becca and Jack, running errands and making sure that things are going smoothly at home. We greatly appreciate the time you are taking from your families to help ours.
