I am watching Jim rest comfortably right now. He has had some fevers the last few days, but nothing is showing up as a new infection. The plan is to do a tracheotomy either Tuesday or Wednesday. Doing this procedure will help him move forward and eliminate some risks involved with being intubated for a long period of time. Jim's breathing has improved a little, but not enough to breathe on his own at this time...hopefully soon.

Dear Patty and Jim,
You are in our constant thought and prayers. I am praying with my friend Margaret right now to see if we should come to the hospital to be with you, at least in the same building, and lift up Jim's surgery to our loving Father. I know our Lord is already present with you both! He is the Divine Healer! In Him we trust.
