Wanted to share the great news...Jim just walked a lap around the unit with a walker and portable oxygen tank. He is sitting in the chair doing exercises with a strength band now. He looks great and has had some good laughs with a few visitors today. Tomorrow will be the evaluation with game plan for the move to Marianjoy. He is ready to go!
We want to thank all of our snow blowing angels for taking care of the driveway. To all our neighbors...sorry the Christmas lights will stay up and on until Jim comes home. He put them up with great determination and wanted everyone to enjoy. We will celebrate with him at home and then we will turn them off. His presents are still wrapped under the tree and we look forward to the day he can open them.
Also want to greatly thank the Gary family for taking care of the kids, so I can spend the hours at the hospital worry free. Thanks to all who have helped do things with the kids during this difficult time. Thanks to all who have visited, sent cards, emails, prayers and comfort our way. We have the best support group anyone could ask for.

That is absolutely wonderful news!!! We are so happy for you all. Jim has had to deal with some difficult obstacles during this part of his journey, but his strength and determination got him through this and will help him on the next leg. Hugs to you all!!
