Jim has been waiting for a week to hear when he could come home. The doctor was thinking Sunday, but it could be tomorrow. Jim will get dialysis in the morning and then will need to be monitored for a few hours. If all goes fine, I can bring him home late afternoon. I told the doctor that would be a wonderful Mother's Day gift. Jim is cautiously optimistic, but had a big smile when he heard the good news.
He is all set up to start the out patient dialysis next Tuesday. We will see Dr. Mehta on Friday and Jim will get another dose of Valcade.
Cross your fingers that all goes well tomorrow!
