Jim is SO ready to come home. He just went down for dialysis and I am working with the doctor to get him out tonight or tomorrow morning. He can not be released until the out patient dialysis is set up. We also have to set up weekly Valcade chemo to work around the dialysis schedule...and then there is the pre transplant testing. Needless to say, Jim is going to be very busy when he gets out.
He has been very tired and has lost some more weight during this stay. He is down to 161lbs. The best medicine for Jim is to see his family and friends, eat his favorite foods, sit outside and walk around the yard. Please feel free to visit anytime, I am sure he would enjoy the company.
