Just a quick note to let you know that Jim came home last night. Today we headed back downtown to see Dr. Mehta and Jim had his chemo treatment, along with 2 units of platelets. He also received 3 units of blood while in the hospital this week. No infection was ever found. Tomorrow is dialysis and then back to the clinic on Friday for possibly the last chemo before Jim goes in for his transplant. Dr. is working on moving up the transplant as Jim's kidneys are not responding to the dialysis. The date could be as early as June 1st. The key goal for this week is to keep Jim out of the hospital.
We are settling in on the couch to watch the Blackhawks game. It is a great way to get your mind off all of this...
