We are all settled in our penthouse suite downtown and Jim has his first dose of chemotherapy underway. He is napping now and I should be too, as we did not sleep a wink last night. Jim does need blood already, which he will get tomorrow during dialysis. He will continue with his current schedule to receive dialysis every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday for the duration of his stay.
Yesterday our friend Francine came to do another photo shoot for us in the back yard. It was a lot of fun! She has a blog on her website and has written a beautiful tribute to Jim as well as posted some of our pictures. Thank you so much Francine! Check out her work:

I will update blog daily with progress reports. We thank you for keeping Jim and our family in your prayers. The journey ahead is going to be hard for Jim, but he is determined to get through this and move on to better days ahead.
