Today was another long day for Jim. He had dialysis for the 2nd day in a row and he was very uncomfortable. His blood pressure went skyrocketing about half way through...like 210 over 129! He is so thin right now it hurts for him to have the blood pressure taken. They had to move the cuff to his calf and that seemed to give him even more pain. At one point he was having terrible pain in his chest and they needed to give him nitroglycerin, which seemed to relieve the pain. They proceeded to evaluate him for a heart attack, which was ruled out after an EKG and Xray. We are waiting for results from an Echo cardiogram to see if there is something else going on with the heart. The bilirubin levels remain elevated in the liver. They are looking for a link between the heart and the liver problem.
We prayed over Jim today and blessed his room with Holy Water and Holy Salt from the healing mass we had in May. He is finally resting comfortably, which is a blessing.
We are Keeping the Faith by his side and praying for more answers tomorrow.

"For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear
not; I will help thee."
Jim and Patty, I said a rosary for y'all and will set aside many times today to pray for healing, strength, and rest.
