Jim got settled in his room at midnight. While in the ER, he had a number of tests done, some of which take 48 hours for results. He did have dialysis today. I was able to celebrate my birthday with my sweetie, holding hands and talking while the machine worked away on Jim's kidneys. It was another special moment I will always remember. Jim actually looked and sounded great today, considering what is happening in his body. The kidneys have not really improved so we need to figure out our plan B. Hopefully find out more tomorrow.
Thanks to so many of you for your help yesterday, taking us downtown to the emergency room, sitting with Jim, bringing food and taking care of our children. We are so blessed to know you and have you in our lives. And of course...thanks for all of the birthday wishes, it seems like just yesterday I was 30 and met Jim Lambert...and the rest is history.
Please pray for Jim's kidneys to respond to the treatment.
God Bless
