Jim's appointment went well yesterday. They took him off of the IV fluids and he was able to get his Zometa treatment as well. I can see a change in him and hear it in his voice. He started walking on the treadmill this weekend to build up his leg strength and increase his energy. Slowly he is working hard to get back to normal.
It is wonderful to see Jim feel good about his progress, as sometimes you think things will never improve. They are, tho not as fast as he would like, but I know Jim and I see a change. It's given me a lift to see this. I just wanted to jump out of bed this morning to write this update. I know everyone has been waiting for some positive news.

It sounds like Jim is definitely improving. It's wonderful news! It's been a very long road and through it all, you have kept us up-to-date and shown a great deal of strength and courage yourself, Patty. You are both quite a team to be reckoned with!
