Jim is feeling good, just a little tired from the chemo. His appetite is great and he is really enjoying the food here. This can change at anytime during the treatment, so it is nice to see him eating so well. He is still on his first dose. The chemo will run nonstop for 5 to 6 days and then if all is well he can come home. Right now we are looking at Sunday to bust out of here.
We are getting our first big winter snow and Jim is happy he does not have to shovel tonight. The view from the room is nice and we are watching the snow come down. He just left to go take a few laps around the floor. It is important for him to keep mobile during this process to avoid pneumonia and keep up his strength. I am waiting for the traffic to die down before I attempt to drive home.
Jim just went flying by, pushing his pump as if he were in a race. He really looks great and continues to crack jokes at everyone. We are off to a good start!!
Talk to you all tomorrow..........
