Jim saw Dr. Mehta on Monday. His counts look good, but Dr. decided to give him the Valcade chemo as the light chain counts are starting to rise again...not much but better to be on the safe side. He seems to be handling the Revlimid well and we hope this will sustain for awhile.

Jim's sister Barb is at Northwestern today donating her stem cells for him. They will freeze them and hold off on the transplant as long as Jim can tolerate chemotherapy drugs. We are grateful to her and glad we were able to find a match so quickly.

On Monday as we were waiting for Jim's appointment, we saw our friend Catherine. She was are first contact and mentor with Myeloma. We would always see her at the Wellness House in Hinsdale. It had been over a year since we had seen her and it was great to catch up. She is such a positive beacon and has been a survivor of Multiple Myeloma for over 10 years.

Spring is in the air and we count our blessings for each good day. Hope your day is a good one!

God is Good...thank you for keeping us in your prayers!
