Jim is looking much better today. He is enjoying a visit with Jack this morning. He continues to have stomach pain and has no appetite. The Dr. is going to give him another dose of lasix today to see if it will diminish the fluid in his stomach to give him some relief. They plan to give him platelets tomorrow in preparation for a parientesis procedure on Monday if necessary. (takes fluid out of the stomach with a needle.) We are just in a holding pattern, waiting for things to improve.
