Just as I was leaving to go and pick up Jim this morning, the doctor called to let me know that he was not being discharged today. He developed a fever and his blood pressure has been very low. They will start him on antibiotics, take some xrays and draw blood cultures to try to figure out what is the source of the problem. Needless to say, Jim is very disappointed.
We hope this is nothing serious, so that Jim can get back on track very soon. Monday starts week 3 of this hospital stay....

I am so sorry to hear this. I know Jim wanted to be home with you and the kids to celebrate Mother's Day with you. Hang in there! Jim's got a lot of fight in him and will be out of there soon.
