Jim is having a pretty good day. He had dialysis this morning and is now getting 2 units of blood. He is making friends in the hallway when walking and trying to reach out to help anyone he can. He really is an inspiration on the 15th floor. Several of his famous "Don't Ever Give Up" signs are hanging on doors or in rooms. We plaster the room with them for every tranplant.
Dinner just arrived! Jim's appetite continues to be good, which is wonderful. The dietition agreed to take him off the renal diet, so that made him happy. He does still have some restrictions, but we are making progress.
