Jim has been very tired with the heat this week. He has lost his appetite and his taste buds...no matter what he tries, nothing works. We have a very busy schedule with dialysis and going in for blood tests every other day. Friday is another long one down at Northwestern. Jim will have a consultation with the radiation department to get measured for treatment before his transplant. Not sure how many times he will need the radiation.. will find out on Friday.
Please pray for Jim's strength to improve, for God to wrap his arms around him and bring Jim comfort in this difficult time. Please also pray for our children, Becca and Jack, that they may feel the Lord's powerful presence at all times.
We thank you all so much for supporting us in so many ways. Without your help, this would be impossible to navigate by ourselves. We feel so blessed to have such a support group. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
