Today we finally found some food that tasted good to Jim. Corner Bakery was a hit and I may be going there daily now. He had not eaten since noon yesterday, so he was very hungry. He did get a dose of Valcade chemotherapy last night. This morning before they put in the new pic line Jim needed to receive platelets. They have been dropping steadily, so he may need another unit later today. The kidneys made a small improvement overnight, so the dialysis is on hold for now. Depending on how the numbers look tomorrow, he may start then. Dr. Mehta returns tomorrow, so we will meet with him to discuss what happens next.
Today we are grateful the sun is shining and that Jim was able to enjoy some food. He is exhausted from the procedure this morning and is enjoying a nap now. I may do the same!

Nice to hear that Jim has an appetite. We're hoping that when he gets his transplant that he will be on the road to his 2nd remission.
